You carry a J Frame or small revolver because you need maximum concealability without sacrificing power. Unfortunately, there are very few holsters that allow the J Frame to be carried comfortably and ready to draw without adding bulk
I choose the Bianchi Model 6 because of some really good reviews on a few forums. Indeed, it is extremally thin yet strong and holds the weapon in place extremely well without adding additional bulk like most holsters do.
The problem is the very thick/sharp metal belt clip and the small bump under the clip which in my opinion is unnecessary. The small bump makes attaching/removing the holster VERY difficult but it seems this is by design for holster retention if you need to draw. You can slide a belt in there but the pants are very hard to get under the clip. I just wish Bianchi could have engineered this a little better.
If the holster had a plastic clip or thinner metal clip with softer edges, it would be a significant improvement. I'll still use the holster but keep in mind its a pain to attach/remove from your belt which can become annoying. My search for the perfect J frame holster continues.
Cons:
- Attaching holster is annoying

I have used the Bianchi 5 waistband holster for over 30 years for a Smith and Wesson Model 60 2 inch barrel. ZI recently bought model 6 for 3 of my k frames. The leather in the new holsters is much stiffer than the old ones, and the new holsters so not cover as much as the frame, compared to the older ones. The belt clip is much stiffer. It appears that the new ones will either not break in or will take much longer to break in.

very good. The clasp that secures the holster to the belt is a little difficult to accomplish when you are attempting to secure it in the small of your back. It has a secure feeling, very happy with it.

This holster is billed as a multi-fit product, it is. It fits a S&W Mod. 67 carry comp very well, could cover the trigger area a bit better, but it's safe as is. Very easy to draw from, but don't try re-holstering with one hand -- though that's not what the product is designed to do. Very comfortable to wear, good driving holster, carried it exclusively in week long trip out of state by car. Worked fine, no issues and clip IWB is convenient for those places you just can't carry.
Pros: IWB clip is good quality, holster holds the guns it was designed for well
Cons: could be cut a little more generously around trigger guard

Does not fit my Beretta 3032 Tomcat. Seems a bit small.

The leather should come up higher to keep the hammer from digging into your skin. The holster is actually to small for the Taurus Model 85, 38 special 2" snub nose.
Pros: Cheap
Cons: Leathers to short

I got this holster to keep my Ruger GP-100 covered in my gun safe and range bag. It serves that role perfectly. I guess you could use it to carry (if you carry a wheelgun), but there are probably better options for that.
Pros: inexpensive, protects firearm well, metal clip
Cons: nothing significant
