NOT a 6378 for an XDs
I'm an LEO, and rely on Safariland security holsters both on and off duty. I was hoping to get an ALS Holster for my off-duty Springfield XDs to mirror image my duty and off duty rigs for Glock 22 and 23. This holster is NOT a 6378 and IS NOT a "security holster". It is Level 1. I have no idea what the actual model number is for the holster I received. The users manual list many numbers, 6287, 5181, 5187, 5188, 518, etc, but NOT 6378, and the packaging doesn't specify a number.
That said, I received a typical quality Safariland holster that has adjustable retention, "Safarisuede" inside to protect the guns finish, and paddle and belt loop options. I still recommend this as the best option for an XDs paddle holster, just don't expect ALS security.
