Received in new condition, and shipping was prompt. Only OD color available. No included leg strap, but that is easily made/added. Very protective and good for field use. Not exactly a "quick-draw" holster.

I have two they both work well. One fits a Taurus 22 the other a Ruger GP 100. I like the flap that secures the firearm. They can be made to work left or right hand. The fit on the GP 100 is very tight it took some braking in. The Tarus fit just right.A great Holster for outdoor activities where you may worry about loosing the firearm.
Cons:
- Not good for concealed carry unless you wear a long
Best Used for:
- Hunting and fishing farm and ranch work.

Bianchi makes high quality products and this holster is a fine example. Design born of great experience and expertise. Well pleased with my purchase. My Kimber K6S DASA revolver (4" barrel) fits perfectly. Fit and finish is excellent, as has been my experience with other Bianchi holsters. Highly recommend this holster.

This is a great holster for hunting, fishing, or outdoor work. It is very well made and should last for years. The holster can be fastened or removed from your belt without removing your belt. Your handgun is very secure and protected.

The UM84R is an excellent field holster. I bought it for my SW 686 L Frame .357 Mag, .38, 4” bbl revolver and I am delighted. It fits as described, high protection design, multiple carry options, cover on or off, belt, molle, ambidex, cross draw. You name it. I also have a UM84-II and UM92-II for my pistols: Sig Sauer P6, P225, 1911 FB Nightmare Carry, P229R 4” bbls. I have used my Beretta 92FS with the 84 and 92 as well. The Beretta 92FS is snug, but will work in size -II, though a size -I is correct for the longer 4.92” bbl. I have the holsters in Black and OD. I discovered the M1415 Thumbsnap fits all of my Bianchi holsters including the UM84R revolver holster. Mind there is variation in snaps on the M1415 thumbsnaps. I had to exchange one with odd spacing between snaps. Otherwise exceptional quality items all. I use the UM84H shoulder harness system too with the pistol holsters. All my pistols fit these holsters. If you need a high quality versatile, easy to configure holster for your revolvers or pistols, look no further. They coean up easy. Break-in is litterally overnight. I have carried von cealed with an oversized coat, but these are really field holsters. They do print somewhat with my husky size and the size of these guns. With coat weather and oversize, they are acceptable concealed. My son has Ruger P90 .45 ACP and the UM92-II fits great too. Checkout the Safariland/Bianchi site for a complete explanation of the Bianchi holster systems’ sizes and colors.
Pros:
- Vaule priced, variety of carry options, wide range of weapons fit, easy clean and break-in, rugged.
Best Used for:
- Wide variety of medium frame revolvers and pistols, best suited for field use.

Yes it worked perfectly for my pistol and I did not have to change anything. I fully recommend it for everyone who has a S &w pistol. It locks the piston in place and does not let it fall out even when you are upside down

Most on line reviews and the manufacturer's chart suggested this holster would not fit the S & W 629 .44 Magnum - 4" barrel. I found one review from a user who said it did and I took a chance and he was right. Fits like a glove. I've owned two of the pistol versions of this holster for years (4" for an issue duty sidearm and a 5" for a Colt .45 cal. 1911. Great protection a sidearm while carrying in the bush.
Pros:
- reasonable price
- Good fit

Bought this item so I could carry my Ruger GP100 while hunting. The Holster offers easy access with no fear of my firearm falling out while going through the woods and thickets. Preforms exactly as wanted.
