I have owned several leather shoulder holsters and after a strugle to get the fit correct this is the best rig I have ever had - I recommend that you get help adjusting and fitting this as FIT is most important for actual use!! Great Product. No substitute for real leather. Fit is perfect as always from Bianchi!
Pros:
- Quality leather and craftsmanship

I've wait forever to finnaly order a shoulder holster, and when I got this one from you it wouldn't fit the 5906 S&W that I bought it for. It was about 1 inch too short on the strap that holds the weapon in place.

I like shoulder holsters, there are many months in Texas where it is just not usable, too hot to wear a jacket to cover.
But I still like shoulder holsters. Just bought this one for a Glock 21 and another brand for a Glock 19X. Both hold the handguns fine, but very tight. The magazine holster on this Bianchi is way too small. I can't even fit a Glock magazine for a 9mm full frame in this mag holster. It might fit a mid-size frame Glock 9mm. Impossible to snap the magazine holster with a .45 full frame Glock magazine. Guessing that the width would stretch with use, but the length or snap cover would never stretch 1/2 inch. The distance between the snaps with a Glock 21 magazine is almost a 1/2 inch gap. No way the leather would stretch that much. I contacted Bianchi customer service and offered to buy the next size up magazine holster and the cust serv person basically told me I was an idiot. What I had was the right size and maybe their leather drying process caused it to be too small. No option to resolve this except to return to the retailer.
Optics Planet is a great retailer. I have bought many items and every other item is superb.
I have several Bianchi belt holsters. Love them all. But this shoulder holster will be the last Bianchi I will ever buy. Good Customer Service is hard to find anywhere since Covid. So my expectations are lower. But when a company has customer service as poor as Bianchi I will never buy from them again.
Cons:
- Imposible to snap magazine holster.
Best Used for:
- smaller handgun than a Glock 21
- maybe a wood handgun that you could cut down the magazine size?

Very durable holster and comfortable! The holster itself needed some breaking in but once I did that it fits like a glove. It does scratch up pretty easily so be on the look out for that. The price isn't bad given the quality of the holsters themselves but the straps feel a little cheaper than anticipated. But overall a great product that I would reccomend

Overall a great holster , feels like it is breaking in well. Use a plastic sandwich baggie between your gun and holster for a day to get the right fit. Feels great on carry and does not print on clothes. Real happy with the holster
Cons:
- no instruction manual provided

The X16 Agent X Shoulder System was very impressive. It was very easy to adjust to fit my torso. The holster fit my weapon perfectly. It fit like a glove. I did use some good leather oil on it since it is unlined, but that is just common sense. There was no need to stretch or mold it to the weapon. It was like the holster had been custom fit for my gun. What a treat. I fell in love with this setup as soon as I wore it the very first time.

Fits my 1911 Ruger. Needed some adjustment. Tie down on each side keeps holster in place. You will need to wear a jacket or some type of wind breaker to conceal. This is not a quick draw holster. Quality and fit are tight at first. Better tight than loose. Break in takes a few days. Like everything about the holster.

Fast delivery, rig is beautiful however, S&W 642 is listed....will NOT be retained well due to the weapons hammerless design, since the 642 was listed there SHOULD'VE been modifications made to accomidate it securly! I'm not pleased for the money I spent for a shoulder rig that was supposed to accept my LISTED gun and didn't! The S&W 642 Airweight will fit the holster nicely and is snug, however, the hammer strap is completely useless and will not restrain the weapon securely! For this reason I'm giving the rig a 2, and I do recommend the rig, but, be absolutely positive your weapon will be suited for the holster! A lot of money for a quality holster just to find out it's NOT what the write up says it is!

I purchased my Left-handed X16 from Optics Planet in March; I've had it just 4 months. Within minutes of wearing it the first time, the screws started falling out and the holster just fell off of me. I managed to find all of the screws and nuts and reassemble it. In a few more hours more screws fell out. I found them again and this time I tightened all of the screws. A week later more screws fell out and I didn't find them all.
I tried to call Bianchi and it took several days to get someone on the phone. While I was trying to get them on the phone, I also emailed. I finally got a lady on the phone who said the screws and the plastic loops that hold the thing together are not sold separately - apparently if you lose a screw or loop the harness must be replaced. She did offer to send me some and I gave her all my information. 3 months later and I haven't received a thing.
After I didn't receive anything from the phone promise, I replied to the email I had received in reply to my email to Bianchi. I explained that I hadn't received the offer from the phone. I received another reply from Bianchi that said if I would send my contact information they would send me screws and loops. I sent my information and never received a thing from them - two broken promises.
Finally, I found similar screws - they're called Chicago Screws - on Amazon and ordered a few assorted sizes to make sure I got what I needed. I also ordered some red Loc-Tite to hold it all together. I put...

Quality leather - am 6'-2" tall and it fits fine; carrying Government Model 1911 in 45 acp all day long comfortably. Draw/presentation is slower then from hip/belt holster but am much more likely to carry given the comfort
Optics Planet delivered promptly with no issues as is typical for them
Pros:
- comfortable to wear
- Class Act
