BlackHawk has designed this balaclava in a manner that it provides the user with total protection from the elements. I am able to tuck it into my mock-turtle neck base layer,and when I put on my insulated jacket,I only use the hood when the it is raining or snowing. The best feature of this item is that it does not restrict your field of view.
Pros: excellent fit, length is long enough to protect neck
