Sturdy/Secure
Bought this for my 2012 F150 Ext. Cab F150. I had a double rack in an older vehicle and found it sturdy and holds the guns securely and out of sight. Tricky finding place to mount in vehicles '08 and above due to lack of metal and changing roof designs. Not like the old days. I found that if you remove the clothes hook above the rear doors there is a small plate that is the perfect size to mount this rack. It sits a little further back than in a single cab, but it is easily accessible for that out the window shot when you're cruising around a ranch.
Pros:
- Sturdy, holds gun securely, keeps gun less visible, easily accessible
Cons:
- Might be hard to find mounting spot in newer vehicle
Best Used for:
- Space saving, travel, out the window shots
