Cannot speak to longevity as I have not used this hard yet. I did clean my 6.5 Creedmoor one time with it and it worked flawlessly. I don't see any reason it wouldn't hold up to prolonged use. It seems to be machined well, and threaded nicely onto my Tipton carbon fiber rod.
