I had an issue where I would lose springs or made instillation of springs very difficult in certain parts of the gun. I use a dab of this on the spring and not only protect the spring but also hold it in place for me to finish installing. Great for lubrication jobs as well but where it really saved my sanity the disconnect spring in an AK's trigger job.
