Perfect Day/Travel pack
Bought this on a whim to see if it could replace another day/travel pack I had.
The front compartment does not go the length bag. The main compartment has a smaller mesh pocket which in turn conceals the access point (Velcro) for a hydration section. I was able to get a 3L CamelBak bladder to fit but it was a bit tedious.
The Velcro opening is at the bottom the small mesh pocket which is about 1/4 of the way down from the top of the pack.
One feature I found interesting is on the main compartment, when it is completely opened there are these webbed fabric on both side that prevent the main compartment from opening 100% and losing potential items at the bottom of the bag.
This pack will be my go-to pack for day hikes and personal bag for airport travel, I don't see myself changing my mind anytime soon.
