Well worth the additional price and weight, especially if you are traveling with people who aren't as hardcore outdoors. You only need on pole to setup the mid and bug. Great for a cloudless night to sleep under the stars as well.

I love black diamond, I have two mega lights and thought this would be a great addition for those especially buggy or rainy days/trips. They are super light and great quality, if you are going ultra light there is no other choice.
