The Blackhawks Black Ops Boots definitely meet expecatations for their lightweight and lack of break in time comfort. As the Danner's do they fit sunggly to your foot and mold to the shape of your foot which can be uncomfortably sung in the summer heat of Afghanistan. The leather black ops are not the best for this environment because of the extrem heat but are good for the winter beacuse of the snow/rain/mud etc you may endure in the Afghanistan terrain. My only complaint was that I had no prior knoweldge of how the sizes ran and stayed true to my foot size and got an 11 which are entirely too snug for thick wool socks or even thins socks with orthopedic inserts or arch supports and also lace a bit funny areound the arch of the foot. Overall, as long as you get the right size and keep in mind that they are more of a winter boot for outdoor operations you are good to go.
Pros: Snug to your foot, Light Weight, Great foot structure Support
Cons: Sizes run a 1/2 size small
