Blackhawk cheek pad
This pad’s Velcro pad area is short. If your stock is straight with little comb the straps may be too long and the Velcro pad will be past the attachment pad. Otherwise the pad area is comfortable and does what is supposed to do.
Best thing ever
Needed a place for ear protection and bullets while hunting monster elk in Nuevo Mexico, or for the English speakers, New Mexico. This item had space for all I needed. Color was right, fit was perfect, and it actually increased the accuracy of my rifle........it’s a fabulous item. Thank you Optics Planet for helping me make my hunt memorable.

Ammo Cheek Pad

works well as on and off cheek riser
Works as advertised. Velcro is more convenient and adjustable than the cord type. The molded foam areas keep their shape and make a better platform than the simple cordura-only types. I added a couple of pieces of foam under it to raise it even more.

Blackhawk ivs
After shooting my new x bolt western hunter I figured I needed cheekrest so I could relax. This wasn't too bad to put on. Once it was on and I tried I knew that this was just what I was needing. The cheekrest is so comfortable and I love to have the storage and extra rounds. I hope they start to make it ina left hand version too so I can get one for my son. Well worth the money spent

It works as promoted.
It works. It is comfortable. It is a standard color and a good full size to give you a big pad so no matter where your face is on the stock you are covered. I would recommend it for someone looking for a cost effective pad with the price of an expensive leather tooled short bullet holder that does not have a pad.

Excellent Check Pad
I have been looking for a check pad for my M1A for better control on shooting and advantage in competition shooting. As always a check of Optics Planet provided some great selections. I picked the BlackHawk Ammo Cheek Pad-Rifle 5 IVS Black 90CP05BK; found it to be very well made, comfortable and design was just what I was looking for. With the added feature of having my 308 ammo handy and a compartment for an added magazine I couldn't have asked for more. I also liked the ability to select different colors, my pick was the olive green, particular to what I wanted with my sling; keeping it original from days past with the Marines.
If one is looking for a cheek pad for their rifle, I would select from Optics Planet, they have what you would be looking for; will be pleased.

Could be a little better
This is the second one that I've owned. They work great hold up well,but my old one seems definitely alot better constructed.my old one is holding up well so we'll have to wait and see how this one does.

Excellent product
very pleased with this my purchase. Fits every stock (more or less), and does the job - elevates my cheek up to the required level to align the eye with the scope. Easy to install, except, perhaps, for the strap that goes around stock's butt - that one requires a bit of adjustments. Very practical pouch. Sturdy, tough construction, intended for very long use (and abuse). Immediately improved my results at 100 and 200 yards. Would recommend to any shooter.

Feels/Works great
Padding as nice and soft. Great material. Definitely recommend. Fits nicely on my 30-06 bolt action rifle. I can now always have that firm cheek rest when I'm aiming down my scope. The ammo holds well on the side and had no problems with it.
