Most Helpful Negative Review Junk. Hits you in the face.

Don't bother using this if your rifle is even slightly overgassed. The charging handle will get pushed out and hit you in the face after every shot. The only thing I could recommend this for is a piston or .22 rifle. I made the mistake of buying two of these. Can't even use them as paperweights beca...

Wears Too Quick

So I’ve seen two 1 star reviews of this product. I’m another one that will do the same. I bought two of these in FDE. I’ll start off with advertisements are cool when you have two Former Navy SEALs using their product, but unfortunately I ran into bad luck on two different rifles. Mine after roughly 900 rounds started to become loose. This past Friday (2/5/21), mine finally became loose enough to come back and hit me in the face 3 times! My brother’s rifle, this happened after roughly 300 rounds. I really do not recommend this product at all.

Not Recommended

I put this charging handle on a recent 11.3" build. After 200 rounds the charging handle would come loose and hit me in the face. I could literally shake the charging handle loose. Sorry Blackhawk, this is a very subpar product.

Simple upgrade

I was somewhat skeptical when I first ordered this. However, Blackhawk designed an outstanding product. I've used this on several builds. One has over 1000 rounds and no issues. Holds tight, easy cycling of the action, works ambidextrously. Fully recommend this and will use it on all my builds in the future.

Easy to install great quality and looks awesome and overall great performer.

Great product

I have several different oversized ambi charging handles and this is by far my favorite. Great buy and I'm using them on all of my ar 15s now. So far they are holding up very well and show no signs of premature wear.

Great function and finish

I like the ambidextrous design and the attractive aesthetic. It works wonderfully and I like the solid feel and function. It looks great on my fde ar15 build and I also like that it doesn't have any moving parts to break.

Blackhawk FDE No latch Charge Handle

The FDE charge handle is perfect for my needs. The Charge Handle FDE color blends well with the other FDE accessories on my rifle. The handles extend far enough to the side to make reaching the Charge Handle under my Athlon 56mm scope a simple task. The quality seems to be excellent. I highly recommend this item.

Blackhawk CH

This CH lasted me about 6 months before it started sliding rough. I bought a raptor an this one. My raptor is holding up like new..now ima have to buy another charging handle (most likely another raptor) to replace this flimsy blackhawk CH. Go with a Raptor ladies and Gets' .

Looks better than a orginal CH

Cons:

Started sliding rough after 6 months when racking back BCG

Did not fit my AR

I bought this for my PSA .224 Valkyrie upper. The fit was very tight. Lots of friction while operating. I still took it out for a day at the range. This charging handle removed all the finish from the topside of my upper receiver. Swapped it out for a run-of-the-mill milspec charging handle. At least that runs smooth by comparison.

Blackhawk charging handle

An awesome upgrade to any “factory” handle. This handle Makes charging a breeze. The Low profile is never in the way. I Have on all my AR builds and would suggest to anyone as an immediate upgrade. And it looks cool..

Great product

So easy to grab and smooth. Lubed it and it slides nice. Works well with gloves. Easy to see in low light situations. Come on it’s a magpul! The price is right and competitive. Optics Planet helps with great prices.
