Not the best fit - BlackHawk Knoxx Axiom R/F Ruger 10/22 Rifle Stock

I tried to fit this stock on 2 different 10/22's, one has the old style metal trigger housing, and one has the newer plastic trigger housing. I had the same issue with both. After torqueing the receiver down to the recommended 20 inch pounds, I could still move the rear of the receiver up and down about 1/64 of an inch, enough so that the "bolt buffer stop pin" was partially exposed. I'm sure this would have effected the barrel harmonics and therefore degraded the accuracy of any rifle "THIS STOCK" (I may have just got a bad one) was mounted on. I will be exchanging it for a different stock to try.

I have seen on Blackhawk's website that they have been having a problem with some of their products being produced by counterfeiters, that doesn't seem to be the problem with the stock I received from Optics Planet, (Amazon and ebay seem to be plagued with this) the packaging, barcode, and product code all seem authentic, but it is something consumers should watch out for.
