L E Hunter's Review of BlackHawk Axiom TH Remington 700 Thumbhole Rifle Stock
I had a shoulder injury a few years ago that left me unable to take the recoil of anything heavier than a 243 Win. This stock makes it possible for me to hunt and shoot my Remington 700 in a 30.06. It cuts the recoil to that of my 243 Win before I added the Blackhawk U/L stock to it. The thumbhole design helps me to further control the recoil by being able to have a better hold of the rifle.
Pros:
- recoil reducing
- thumbhole pistol grip
Cons:
- sharp edges
- slight modification to fit rifle
Best Used for:
- shoulder injuries
- small framed shooter with large caliber guns
