Most Helpful Positive Review Great holsters
Over 30 years as a cop, you name it, I've tried it. Hagfin has it right, This is the best holster I've owned for general carry and I've tried Galco, Bianchi, Uncle Mike's; leather, Cordura, carbon fiber, etc. Holds the weapon close and secure, but quick to draw and encourages proper grip as you draw...

Most Helpful Negative Review Not For Glock 21SF
I purchased this holster with the intent of carrying it on the trail. When I tried the fit of the SERPA, it locked my G21 in place and would not let go. A screw driver and a lot of pulling later gave me back my gun. The holster was marked down and now I know why. When I contacted Blackhawk, they...

Excellent holster

by Shooter, from AL, United States Written on July 20, 2023
Super easy to put on and take off with outstanding weapon retention. It's the only holster type that I use and I carry several different types of weapons. The paddle doesn't pinch or bite, very comfortable with the capacity to slide it into a position that works best for the wearer and the holster can be tilted to accommodate the desired draw angle.
Best Used for:
  • Open and concealed carry

The Good & The Bad

by Brandon, from NV, United States Written on October 7, 2020
There are mixed reviews out there online about this holster so allow me to briefly elaborate. While this is a widely used and arguably reliable holster, it can also be dangerous in the hands of the inconsistent. When the release mechanism is accessed it forces you to place your finger along the groove of the holster, sliding your finger down towards the mechanism, pressing the release and sliding your finger back up the groove of that holster in hopes of your finger staying in place and eventually laying upon the slide of your firearm going into your draw position. If you do not practice this motion and the execution of this release consistently, your finger could end up under the trigger guard and pressed upon the trigger of your firearm, causing an accidental discharge. I did not know this. Luckily I’ve been practicing my draw with my firearm unloaded, but I may explore other options. Different ranges or places you train may not allow you to use this holster for this safety concern in which one cannot predict when an accidental discharge will occur. Buy with caution, train with attention to this detail and definitely explore other options.
Pros:
  • Price, the build, the brand
Cons:
  • safety
Best Used for:
  • The experienced user

BlackHawk CQC SERPA Holster and Glock 20 with RMR06

by David, from VA, United States Written on March 9, 2018
This was my first Blackhawk holster purchase. I have a Glock 20 with a Trijicon RMR06 in a slide melt. The problem that I continued to run into was the pistol would not fit many ‘hard’ holsters with the RMR attached. I usually would have to cut the holster or stick with a soft holster. With my busy life style, I do not have time to spend altering a new holster so it will work properly and the soft holster (OWB) just would not hold a gun as heavy as the Glock 20 securely. This did a great job in securing the weapon and it was an easy fit with the RMR. I enjoy the level two securing. Sometimes I find myself on the ground or climbing and It is nice to know that I will not have to worry about the loss of my sidearm.
Pros:
  • VERY secure.
Cons:
  • None.

Blackhawk holster

by Long range Dave, from NY, United States Written on June 4, 2017
Great product. Very fast draw. Have been using leather pancake holsters for over 30 yrs and then saw a friend use the black hawk holster and was instantly in love with it. Just will they made for my other pistol ( hk45). Went to the range and my draw time was cut in half and that was with out a lot of practice time.

Great Buy For Left Handers

by DC, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on April 7, 2015
Being left handed, options are limited for me, but this holster is perfect. It fits the Heckler & Koch P30LS model great. The barrel extends a little past the holster but it fits nicely. The paddle is comfortable and easy to hook to a belt with very little movement. The holster also has the option to tilt the position of the gun, which I like. All in all, this is the right choice for anyone trying to carry outside the belt.

Better than I expected

by Bow, from IL, United States Written on March 30, 2015
Exceptional fit and comfort. It's ability to adapt to other platforms is also extremely handy. It's conceals under a loose shirt nicely as well. I will be purchasing this product for my other two firearms as well.
