Performs as Expected
The BlackHawk CQC Concealment Vest Holster Platform does exactly what you would expect it to do. It has the usual Blackhawk high quality and mates perfectly with BlackHawk Serpa line of holsters. It is very stiff and provides a solid platform for holster mounting. It includes the longer screws you will need to mount the holster to the platform. The ones that come with the Serpa holster are too short for that purpose. Carrying a full size weapon in a vest may be a challenge just because of the weight pulling on the fabric of the vest. Too thick
I love the Serpa system, it's the only holster I've used. I feel better knowing my Glock is secure no matter what Serpa attachment I'm using. I bought a concealment vest and thought this platform would be perfect but that's not the case. The attachment makes the whole system too thick. It bulges out noticeably and tends to hang down a little since the weight isn't close to the chest. I ended up putting Velcro on the back of a thin holster and it works much better. I just wish I could achieve this with the Serpa retention

No Concealment
The idea behind this platform is great. The weak spot is the CQC holster. After mounting it to the platform, the outer edge of the holster sticks out well over 3 inches. Nothing about this platform is concealable.

A Good Product But.....
Fits well but heavier pistols, like a 3" XD, cause the holster and platform to tip out from your body. This creates an even larger (undesired) bulge. Likely will work better with lighter weapons.
