Most Helpful Positive Review SERPA shoulder harness
This shoulder holster fits the SERPA holsters and accessories, such as magazine pouches, very nicely. I used this for the holster on one side and two mag pouches on the other. However, I have a full size 45 Glock, and while it worked, it wasn't able to hold the gun securely against my side. It wo...

Most Helpful Negative Review You'd be better with another brand
Good luck matching the correct holster with the corresponding harness! I already owned the Blackhawk CQC serpa III holster, and order what should have been the correct "Right-hand" harness #41SH01BK-R only to receive what must be a Left-Hand one in a R/H box! There is NO WAY to make it work, even s...

Blackhawk SERPA Shoulder Harness

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on March 31, 2012
The Blackhawk shoulder holster system is ideal for those who wish flexibility in their concealed carry. Normally you have two options if you change sidearms. Buy a cheap one-size-fits-all nylon rig that fits but not perfectly or buy a custom fit rig that fits perfectly but sets you back $100+ for each pistol. The Blackhawk system allows you to change sidearms by simple replacing one SERPA holster with another appropriate SERPA holster. The magazine carrier changes to fit also. Going from a double stack to a single stack is a simple change requiring two minutes time. Since the SERPA holster draw is identical for all models there is no re-learning required. In my opinion this shoulder system has two negatives. Because of its' design it is rather bulky and tends to print. Not a big problem when the weather requires a jacket or vests but somewhat difficult to deal with in warmer climates. The second negative is the tie-downs. In my opinion when carrying a heavier pistol tie-downs are absolutely necessary. The Blackhawk systems provides the tie-downs which adjust via Velcro but they are definitely too long for practical use. At their shortest position they still allow the pistol to flop and swing beyond most other systems I have tried. Overall the system works well, allows the owner flexibility and options not normally found on shoulder holster systems.
Pros: Flexibility
Cons: Bulky
