I recently purchased a BlackHawk Discreet Weapons Case 40in for M-16 65DC40 for my AR15 rifle. The case have lots of room for your rifle, magazine and extra ammo. I would recommend this case if you are looking for one.

This is a well made case with nice padding. The front pocket is padded as well. I just wish they made it in a 48" for bigger rifles.

Its a Blackhawk, Expect the Best!
I love this bag for M4/AR Sporter style rifles. It is sleek, hold plenty of pare items in small compartment. Comes with th 3 mag pouch. Ive even used this bag for a 2 gun carry. The large pocket will hold a 40" AR sporter and the small will fit a collapsed M4 size rifle. Awesome bag!

Good construction, fit and finish. Pricy compared to other cases, but is likely to hold up under heavy use.
Pros: Closed cell foam does not absorb moisture and will support many times more weight before sinking than open cell foam.
Cons: Could use a couple more internal attachment straps

Good Quality
The shoulder pad is great when the case is fully loaded. It keeps the strap from digging into your shoulder. Also the rubber texture on the shoulder pad keeps the strap from sliding off your shoulder.
