Needs some improvement - BlackHawk Enhanced Military Ruck Sh. St. OD Green

Overall an improvement over standard issue shoulder straps, but still lacking. First, the shoulder straps are not on par with modern North Face, Kelty, etc type packs. Second, the adjustments constantly slide because they are not the spring loaded clamp type adjustments found on standard shoulder straps. This is probably a cost saving mechanism. Third, the straps would perform better is they were the rigid hoop style on mountain packs, which these aren't.
Pros: Fits better than standard shoulder straps
Cons: Slides too easy and not enough padding
