Digging the BH Gideon Tanto
Awesome knife. Fits my hand unbelievably well. Great balance. Just got it, so haven't put it through its paces yet. So I got nothing to tell you as far as edge retention etc. Nice hefty chunk of steel though.
As a heads up: the release catch on sheath works, but is small and well protected from accidental release. This set up is fine for camping/hiking, but under conditions where fine motor skills degrade, probably not. Also no instructions/suggestions for attaching sheath with all the little parts included, so be prepared to be creative or get another sheath. Thought I'd mention this since...

Excellent outdoor knife
When I go to the range and have my knife clipped on to my belt I always get compliments and questions. The sheath itself is masterful and retention is a dream. A quick press of the release and out the knife comes with but some resistance. It arrived super sharp and ready to slice papers is half. The positive grip texture is amazing and definitely keeps the blade where it needs to be even under extreme moisture from rain, sweat or blood. Get all around knife suitable for all daily tasks and looks great doing it. I highly recommend this knife to any knife enthusiast or user of knives for any reasons other than the dinner table. Aloha
