Not for concealed carry
Outstanding leatherwork and perfect operation. I have M&P 40C and it drops right in without forcing, thumb latch is positioned perfectly to draw without thinking about what to do. Lies at natural thumb position. Comes out with trigger finger indexed along slide just where it needs to be for a safe presentation.
Now to the only con I have. Living in Tennessee I can carry open legally but prefer not to. Why announce to the bad guy that I'm a threat. This holster is great for the range or open carry but is NOT concealable. Stands much too far from your belt to conceal. I tried with oversized shirt, jacket, etc. Just not tight against body for concealing. My Blackhawk detective holds so snug I can feel the magazine pressing against my side. This one I can put another magazine between my body and pistol grip.
Love the holster. Leather quality is great! Just don't need another range holster. Returning it and buying night sights instead.
