Most Helpful Positive Review If it can survive active combat duty it can survive NY
Amazing piece of tactical hardware. I appreciate how my fingers are still usable for things like turning pages of books, utilizing various zipper and pocket lids, use pen, even a cell-phone. To a non-active military person, this glove is still amazingly useful and purposeful. The second-to-warzone t...

Most Helpful Negative Review Blackhawk Hellstorm Fury
Bought these specifically for carbine use. They lasted only three courses and then literally came apart at the seams. Very poor sewing. I do not recommend for serious work. Pros: Nice fit Cons: Poorly constructed

Good pair of gloves

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from OH, United States Written on August 14, 2012
Bought these for a hunt in Africa. They were excellent for its purpose. Protects your hands during all the crawling. Excellent for stalking in the jess.
They got soiled on the journey back when a bottle of Amarula broke. I had to wash them and then the material looks rather worn. I hand washed them in cold water as per instructions.
Definitely recommend the product as they are great to use.
Pros: Good fit. Excellent protection for the hands,
Cons: Material looks raggedy after one wash

Best glove for the money. However, the sewing was off on the index finger of one glove. Optics planet quickly replaced it. Now satisfied.
Pros: High quality, supple feel, durable
Cons: Index finger sewing may be little off, knuckle pads slip below knuckles with fisted hand
Would recommend: Yes

Kevlar knuckles would be nice. There is a combat version with the "protective" kevlar knuckles, but the price goes up. Overall, great duty gloves.
Pros: Quality leather, supple feel, easily usable with triggerguards
Cons: Price

Blackhawk HellStorm Fury Commando Glove

As with any article of clothing, it's very hard to guess what the proper fit for yourself will be. I ordered a large set of these gloves; they were tight but I preferred that for shooting purposes. Excellent quality!
Pros: High quality, well made
Cons: Hard to anticipate correct fit

Blackhawk! Fury Commando Nomex Gloves

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from VT, United States Written on November 10, 2010
I have found these gloves to allow much better dexterity and trigger manipulation than other nomex gloves on the market. You get what you pay for as far as comfort is concerned. These are plenty durable for most people's purposes. Just know that they are not rappel gloves, and if you wear them every single day for a year (i.e. Afghanistan) you will wear through them.
Pros: Fire retardant gloves with the best dexterity I've seen thus far. Price works out to be worth it in performance. Better to cry and buy once and have something nice that will last a little while.
Cons: Very expensive.
