Blackhawk le duty gear level 2 serpa duty holster - BlackHawk SERPA L2 Duty Holsters

Now that Texas is an open carry state, I needed a holster that was a little more sturdy than the CQC. The duty holster has the same great retention as Blackhawk's concealment holsters and is definitely the way to go for open carry. The molding is thicker and will hold up to just about anything. The package comes with a low-ride belt loop which mounts to the holster in the same way as the concealment line of holsters do. The screws are a heavier gauge and screw into a metal reinforced mount, providing extra security.

I also purchased the mid-ride belt loop and the high-ride loop mount because I wasn't sure how comfortable the holster would be while riding/driving in a car. The high-ride loop places the holster essentially at the same place on the belt as a concealment holster and the mid-ride loop seems to be just right for most applications.

Overall I am very happy with this holster. Training with your gear is key.
