Finding a holster for this particular gun make and model was, for me, a bit of a hassle. I finally ordered and received Blackhawk Beretta 92/96 44h004bk-r holster. My Beretta 92A1 (with the accessory rail) fits in this model holster perfectly. I would recommend this holster to a friend. I hope this helps clear up some confusion for someone.

I got this holster for duty carry with my G22. The gun fits perfectly. It gives a satisfying "click" when holstering and the draw is easy, retention good. I will have to get used to the lower ride and the holster pushing into the car seat.

Works great, fits my Beretta 92 A1 like a glove. The one I first ordered would not allow for the lower rail, even though the description stated it would fit, this model does. Quick customer service getting this matter resolved. Would recommend this holster to others.

This is an excellent product. It slips on and then bolts onto a duty belt, so you don't have to take everything off of an existing belt to install it. I have used it several times already in live-fire training, and it performs flawlessly. I can tell that I will get many years of service from this holster. I also had to use Blackhawk's customer service, because the screws that came with the holster weren't long enough (I have a thick duty belt). They were very helpful, and mailed me some longer screws the next day. This holster is the best!!

first holster did not work as advertised. retainer screw was backed out as far as it could go,and it took too much strength to release holstered gun.called Blackhawk and they expedited a replacement.i am very happy with my choice

Fits my P228 and rides just right on my hip. Like a low rider. Locks in snug and comes out smooth.

Material used is very solid, unlikely to crack under normal conditions. The locking system has an affirmative click and release, and secures the pistol well. I was looking for a holster that would accommodate a 92FS, 96, and 92 compact with rail. This holster does it all and I'm very pleased. The holster is not designed to be frequently attached and removed from your belt, which means you won't be feeding your belt through belt loops on your pants.

Now that Texas is an open carry state, I needed a holster that was a little more sturdy than the CQC. The duty holster has the same great retention as Blackhawk's concealment holsters and is definitely the way to go for open carry. The molding is thicker and will hold up to just about anything. The package comes with a low-ride belt loop which mounts to the holster in the same way as the concealment line of holsters do. The screws are a heavier gauge and screw into a metal reinforced mount, providing extra security.

I also purchased the mid-ride belt loop and the high-ride loop mount because I wasn't sure how comfortable the holster would be while riding/driving in a car. The high-ride loop places the holster essentially at the same place on the belt as a concealment holster and the mid-ride loop seems to be just right for most applications.

Overall I am very happy with this holster. Training with your gear is key.

This holster is well made, simple to use and fits the weapon very well. Holster does not mark up. You can cant the holster to a comfortable weapon draw position. The finger release for the weapon works great.
