perfect combo

This holster is amazing! Hands down the best out there. the retention and security of the weapon while still being able to draw the weapon easily is astonishing! The draw is VERY FAST for a level 3, unlike some holsters that you need to tickle, wiggle, and make an appointment to draw your weapon. My only complaint is that I carry a Sig P220 Elite Dark with Siglite night sights for Duty and this holster is made for use with the standard snubby style sites on basic Sigs. It was an easy fix, just had to notch out some plastic and now the holster works like a wet dream. wasn't that big of a deal, but you would think that if Blackhawk is going to make a holster for a wepon model it would accomodate all variants of the model. But, all in all, this is the best holster out there and is a great new home for my Sig Dark Elite.

This is a great holster/light setup. Super fast to draw from, and great tac light!

Outstanding value. The tac light is simple to operate and the holster, well what can I say - it's a Blackhawk! The level 3 cap is easy and intuitive to operate, and the serpa release is awesome!

Cons: Standard belt attachment is a bit low. You may want to look at the mid and high ride options.

Starting with the only negative... this holster comes with the low-ride belt attachment. You need to order either the mid-ride or high-ride attachment from Blackhawk. The low-ride puts the holster low enough that the bottom hits your car seat when you sit down (at least it did for me and I'm 6' tall). I ordered both the mid and the high-ride, tried them both and settled on the high-ride.

Now for the good stuff!

Wow! This holster simply rocks! The light was advertised as a 65 lumen - not shabby but about 1/2 the output of the brightest on the market. It has an UNADVERTISED upgraded LED that is 95 lumens! The light is awesome!

The same week I got the light and holster in service, I was in a foot pursuit of two suspects from a stolen car with a sawed-off shotgun left in the car and unknown weapons with them. As we searched the bushes and located them, it was so nice to have the light ON the gun, hands free, not having to hold my streamlight and the gun at the same time.

I held off going to a tactical light because of the lack of a level-3 holster being available. I work a lot of events with high crowd levels and wanted the security of a level 3 holster.

Now, I have both. I'm a very happy cop!

After having used several holsters (mostly by Safariland) for about 14 years, this holster beats them all hands down. You retain a natural grip on your weapon while drawing and releasing the safeties unlike others that require multiple actions to draw you weapon, slowing your draw down. Superb product!
