Most Helpful Positive Review Holsters
I purchased this as a duty holster for a Colt 1911 rail gun. The weapon and light fit well and the holster performs as described. It is secure, yet faster than any other level 3 holster I have ever used. Pros: ease of use and superior fit
Most Helpful Negative Review Does not work with SIG 1911
I like the holster design.but was a lil upset that it did not work with my new sig 1911 extreme model..there was no note that said it would not work.

Great holster

Overall its a great holster. Rides lower than your standard holster on the belt. If you use a 1911 without a rail, it tends to rattle inside the holster. I carry both a Colt Rail Gun and a Kimber Tactical Custom II. I purchased this holster because I wanted to use a light on my pistol. It works perfect with the light. I would still recommend this holster to someone who wants a professional looking holster with a quick draw.
Pros: Quick draw, with a nice professional look
Cons: Rattles if you dont have the light on your pistol

Blackhawk Serpa Level 3 Xiphos Duty Holster BW 1911

The model for railed or non-railed 1911s is super quality & great fit for both railed & non-railed pistols. The level 3 retention system is easy to use. This holster should last a lifetime. You cannot buy a better level 3 holster for this price!

Excellent Duty holster

Great holster. Very natural draw while still keeping all retention properties. Can only use a blackhawk light though.
Pros: Ease of use, retention
Cons: only accomodates 1 type of light
