Good Intent, Bad Execution.
Blackhawk tried to wedge their way in to the weapon light market to fit their SERPA platform. Cool idea guys! But your light sucks. A LOT of guys at the PD got these lights and holster, and almost all of us had the light rail at the range from shock, or in the middle of clearing a house (with good batteries). The light just isn’t up to par with everyday use. Probably why they came out with the EPOCH and OMNIVORE.

Much better light than the original model. Very good product. It is much brighter and the switch is much more responsive. When the light arrives, make sure to loosen the rail mount before placing on weapon. Otherwise the securing arm will not close and lock in place.

it works as advertised
Light works as advertised. Not too bright but enough to illuminate an object/person. Offset mounting is kind of odd and can only use it in a blackhawk holster. Battery lasts well and have yet to change it.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY
This product is specific to the Blackhawk serpa light-bearing line of holsters. The light is not as bright as I would've hoped, over-priced, and unreliable. After two years of MINIMAL use, the light began to fail regularly. If you insist on buying Blackhawk, as all of their other holsters and holster accessories have been incredible, get the Epoch holster and buy yourself a Streamlight or Surefire weapon light. You will not be disappointed.

Light is easy to use and easy to mount onto your weapon. It's also very bright and compact. I have used many different flash lights as a police officer, and I was very surprised on how this light illuminated a dark room. I wish I would have this light years ago, it may have saved me some money with all the flash lights that I have purchased over the years. This site so far had the best price for this light. I would recommend this to a friend.

I Rely on this Light Daily
After over six years of carrying my Xiphos NT daily while on duty, and thousands or rounds through my M&P .40, I started to have problems with the switch while mounted on my gun. Not wanting to have to change, and relearn a new triple retention holster I decided to go with the new version NTX. It arrived in just a few days, brand new in the box, and works perfectly. I rely on this light and holster system daily and with my life and I highly recommend it. Stay safe....

Plastic garbage
This light is garbage for the money. I fired my pistol at night with the light on and it would randomly turn off and on. It can't handle the recoil of a firearm. There is no tactical advantage to having a light that is offset. I only bought it because it's the only light that fits in the Blackhawk Serpa III Holster. Do not buy this flashlight

Fits well on S&W M&P full size
Ordered because I won a custom holster for my M&P full size .40 S&W that fits this light specifically. Goes on easily. The quick disconnect works well. It seems lighter than the Streamlight. Very low profile and the ambi switch works as advertised. If it only had a laser.......

blackhawk light does job
Bought this light for my Glock 23. It works great so far. Brighter than I expected. Was easy to mount and figure out how to use since I'm a guy and we all know we don't read directions. Great at night clearing buildings and open areas. Hoping to talk the chief into getting them for all officers.
