After trying to do building searches holding my flashlight in one hand and my gun in the other I decided to get a rail light. It was expensive, but it has been worth the price paid. It's so much easier than using a flashlight and safer too.
Pros: Mounts easily, bright light, easy to use
Cons: A little pricey
