Another Great Product From Blackhawk!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on October 20, 2009
The vest is very well made, clearly with good quality material. My only concern is that the pistol mag pouches will not hold any flashlight that I own, including a SureFire G2, which is the smallest that I own. The only place that the G2 will fit in is the pistol mag pouch that is part of the pistol holster. Otherwise, this vest is perfect. I highly recommend the vest.
Pros: Very nice quality
Cons: not really any
Would recommend: Yes

Do not buy imitations, Blackhawk Omega is #1

Element on the front of the vest are stitched on, no modifying other than the velcro closure length on the magazine holders. That being said, my greatest fear was that my Glock 17 would slop all over in the crossdraw holster. It is tight to the vest, and the Glock doesn't slop at all. Neither would a Beretta 92 either i'm sure. Camelback pouch, and the back has molle straps for attaching more gear. I am 6'1 and 230lbs, I ordered a large vest. Tightened u as tight as possible it is nice and snug over a goretex. I highly recommend this quality product. Buy a tactical vest once and be done with it, don't bother with no-name knock offs, as I have seen a ton of them, and they are mostly junk.
Pros: Quality, heavy duty stitching, holster not sloppy at all
Cons: Cost, but what can you do? You get what you pay for
