It's OK
It needs a little more slack to close right when full, but overall an OK product. I have it on my TAC vest and it's relatively easy to access the rounds.

I have two of these pouches on my VooDoo Tactical Weapons Case (MOLLE Soft Rifle Case). The BlackHawk S.T.R.I.K.E. Gen 6 Speed Clips work perfectly to attach the pouches to the weapons case. The pouch itself holds the 18 shotgun shells firmly and securely so that I have no worries about loosing them during transportation. I highly recommend this pouch to everyone. I think the workmanship of the pouch's fabrication is well done. A top quality piece of gear. Good Luck.

Overall an excellent product, both durable and practicable. However, the hard plastic attachment point was designed for a smaller leather type belt, not the military web belt. But it works....
Pros: Well built, compact, the right size for pistol belt.
Cons: Has hard plastic (4-way) connector that is not easily adaptable for a 21/2" pistol belt

Great item
Very well made but then again everything Blackhawk makes is well made. Holds shot gun shells very well. And it's great they they came with the speed sticks normally you have to buy them separately and the cost about 10-15 dollars last time I checked. Over all great item, will buy another one in the near future.

Blackhawk quality as usual
As with all things Blackhawk this item is well thought out and functional. 12 gauge ammo is typically carried loose in a pocket along with a few individual rounds in vest shellholder loops. IMO neither is satisfactory as I am loathe to carry loose ammo of any kind anywhere. This shotshell carrier suits me "right down to the ground" with 18 rounds at your finger tips...wherever you please.
I bought this holder to compliment my Maverick 88 grab and go shotgun. Now, I don't have to search for the ammo or the right kind of ammo. The carrier holds the round securely, handily and always ready.
