Unlike universal pouches that are designed for either AR or AK, this pouch was designed specifically for AK-47 magazines. Similar overall design to Blackhawk's AR pouches, but optimized for operators equipped with the AK. Carries two standard steel AK mags in each pouch, with plenty of flap to engage the hook and loop. The pouch includes four molle compatible straps on the back for maximum retention on your vest. Once attached and loaded with ammo, the pouch remains in place and magazines easily accessed. I have one pouch on either side of my vest, giving me a capacity of eight AK mags. Overall, excellent product.
