Blackhawk s.t.r.i.k.e. carrier non-cutaway - Blackhawk S.T.R.I.K.E. Carrier Cordura Lining Armor

I purchased this item for use as a dedicated body armor carrier and for it's load bearing capabilities. There is Velcro on front and back which allow for the attachment of extra large Instructor patches. The molle attachments allow you lash anything you'd need whether it be for combat or like me, Firearms Instruction. The length is obviously fixed but the width/girth is extremely adjustable. The XL can easily be adjusted to a MED. I use military cut Interceptor Body Armor style ballistic panels in the carrier and they fit perfectly. It will also accept my custom cut Second Chance panels as well. This carrier also has separate pockets in front of the soft body armor pockets which accept hard ballistic plates. I did not opt for the Cutaway carrier because my PD doesn't operate in waterborne environment (jettison the weight or drown) and I couldn't justify the extra cost.
Pros: Good quality and price
Cons: I would have like more Velcro on front and back
