Blackhawk S.T.R.I.K.E. Carrier non-Cutaway
I purchased this item for use as a dedicated body armor carrier and for it's load bearing capabilities. There is Velcro on front and back which allow for the attachment of extra large Instructor patches. The molle attachments allow you lash anything you'd need whether it be for combat or like me, Firearms Instruction. The length is obviously fixed but the width/girth is extremely adjustable. The XL can easily be adjusted to a MED. I use military cut Interceptor Body Armor style ballistic panels in the carrier and they fit perfectly. Needed tactical vest
Needed it for warrants fit my panels with a little room to spare but there are straps to secure it snugly Price is good only complaint no place for ceramic trauma plat it is priced well below other tact vests it can be configured basically any way you decide the add on though an not cheap

Great product
I am a small framed, female K9 handler. My department bought us vests from another company (not Blackhawk) and though it was custom measured, it was too big and not adjustable. I bought this vest (XS) in black. My ballistic panels fit in the carrier perfectly, as though it was made for them. The cummerbund makes it very adjustable and I can get it to fit snugly across my midsection. I would recommend this vest carrier anyone. In fact, four other handlers in my unit purchased this vest and love it as much as I do.

Great for airsoft
Great for airsoft, not for actucal combat use. No padding or liner underneath. Out part is for hard armor, and underneath part is for soft armor. Lots of velcro, so vest will stay in place. Hard to adjust shoulder straps on your own.

This item is exactly what you would expect and more. It will hold soft armor and hard plates. I would recommend this product to anyone. Size would be the only thing anyone would worry about. If you wear a large order a large it can be adjusted if needed.

Absolutely awesome looking vest that is equally as impressive in quality. You can tell right out the box it is well made with high quality materials. Ballistic panels are easy in and out. And the straps are adjustable and I prefer my vests more on the tight side so it's perfect. Another reason blackhawk makes awesom stuff. Hooorah

Nice plate carrier
THis is a nice armor carrier- the only thing I'd like to see is a padded traction pad on the right shoulder to mid chest for gun stocks. It's a little cumbersome and slippery with a hard plate in it, even putting it in the center of the chest for firing.

carrier vest
The sizes can be very deceiving. I usually wear large clothing however with the ability to adjust the torso and the shoulder straps I ordered a medium. The main concern with sizing was the length of the carrier and that is what has to be a focus when ordering size. The material was stiff at first but after just one week has loosened up and moulded well. This is a great carrier and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Another plus .... The price can't be beat, optics planet beat out the competition by $100 and even though it was on back order was here in two weeks.
