I use many Blackhawk products. This pouch works exactly like I expected it to. I holds your mags w/o any chance of losing them, and you can use this pouch for both M4 mags and AK mags. I have both rifles and have bought several of these pouches to set up vest/LBE for both rifles. The only downside is that if you are in an assault type situation, the magazines are slow to get out, and with them turned the way this pouch holds them they are a little bulky in a vehicle.You can't go wrong with Blackhawk.
