Not compatible with their front half...
Although it is listed as compatible with certain front harnesses, it turns out Blackhawk has multiple generations on the market that all use the same part number. They indicated they are in the process of resolving this -- had to go through a painful RMA process to resolve.

Cons: Buckles don't match up with front chest harness they listed as compatible.
What a deal
Great companion item to the chest harness. The full system is a DEAL compared to other rigs out there, and its even better with the option to carry armor.
This item is NOT needed for the chest rig to be functional. It does not make it fit better, in fact, the fit is somewhat looser.

This product is just as advertised. Connects to the Blackhawk STRIKE Recon Vest very well. It securely holds my plates from my IBA without any problems.
