I put it on my left leg platform and this pouch is very easy to use.

Blackhawk Smoke Grenade Pouch
This pouch works well and the one MOLLE strap does do the job; however, it has a bit of "wiggle" to it when you're in motion. Smoke pouches by other manufacturers have this issue as well.
