Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent product, but size chart needs revising
I've got a 6 1/2" bbl Taurus Raging Bull w/Bushnell handgun scope (using medium rings) that I purchased this holster for based on the blackhawk size charts, however the "03" size holster was not long/deep enough for the pistol to fit in all the way -- the barrel bottomed out before the trigger and trigger guard were inside the holster. The holster, however is of very nice quality and workmanship, so I simply ordered the next size up (the "04") which fit the pistol just fine once I'd removed the scope caps. With the scope caps on, the trigger guard still wouldn't quite make it all the way into ...

It will do the job

This fits the bill for handgun hunting without emptying your bank account. I removed the flap for quick access. It securely held my scoped Ruger Redhawk, no problem. Just tight enough to stay in place if I take a digger.

Perfect fit

Bought this for my husband's S&W Performance Center .44 Magnum Hunter.......holster fits the pistol perfectly!!! Now he can take it hunting and knows the gun will be safe and secure, and easily accessible.
