Michael J Perrine's Review of BlackHawk Shotgun Bandoleers
I love shotguns, specifically 12 gauge and especially the old school military point man and the various emergency break out riot shotgun variants and various tactical variants I've created, repaired or restored and never cared for the pretty look-only the type that the First Sergeant had specifically designated sent to me and my post as if the base or station was being locked down for something wicked-and I've lived those moments. So, if it wasn't metal 100 rd belts and an M60 machinegun, it was and remains now, bandoleers with 12 gauge American firepower that now bristle on my favorite 55 round BLACKHAWK! scuba loops. I feel I especially can advise on fighting/defensive/riot/survival shotguns and the advantages and events I could recount. Sometimes the very specific knowing which specific rounds on which one of the many bandoleers I've used and continue to have for fast retrieval of having enough of and the desired choice of 12 gauge ammo. I must admit that with the 15 or so bandoleers that I wish BLACKHAWK! had some Olive Drab, Tan, and especially old school U.S. Woodland, old school U.K. Woodland DPM and some Wolf Gray for us oldest school Survivalists who studied all sorts of techniques for emergencies, served in more than one Mil Branch to get uber training and worked with multiple agencies for more skills, like getting that FBI/STATE Firearms Instructor creds to take it all to just one more level! Well, BLACKHAWK! Bandoleer break down, not counting stock and receiver shell holders: One is all Winchester Defender Segmented lead slug, 2/3/4/5) all Winchester mil issue green 00 Buckshot, 6/7) all red Winchester Super X #1 Buckshot from winning an online retail ammo vendor stock reducing biz-I won a case during Covid and, like all my 12 gauge, I don't get longer than 2 3/4" because of a few old school riot guns. Other belts have a few #4/#1 buck mix for my sweet slam firing military Ithaca 37. I have 2 belts of extreme situ, one is all OC Pepper, the other is Dragon's Breath in case my 20 acres starts burning in a bad way and needs the spreading cut off. Lastly, I have a couple bandoleers with the buckshot minis for my old Stoeger Coach Gun at the back door for the snakes that frequent the back stream. Because I have another lot of Win military green ordered, I'm adding another bandoleer to this order this week for stashing in the gun room. I guess you could say, yes, I like this BLACKHAWK! shotgun shell bandoleer!

At 14 I had my first gunfights in woods where we weren't wanted by certain people. After 4 dogs shot and 1 of my dogs was stabbed, I started hunting the poachers and thieves. I drove them away and ended up on the survivalist path. I am a former Marine, Fast Attack Submariner, soldier-unit armourer and M60 machinegunner. I was FBI trained/certified as an L/E Academy Firearms Instructor & former government contractor. When I was first assigned to the FBI instructor class, I had a broken right ankle, which I hid and wrapped in my boot. The instructors identified my injury on the fourth day but allowed me to continue if I could pass, or return later. I finished the next weeks and passed. I developed defensive tactics based on a lifetime of studying and training in multiple martial arts and honed it working in 2 prisons/2 jails and u/c work. I have stopped 2 terrorist events, one domestically and one in W. Germany. A drunk driver caused my TBI disability/aneurism&constant migraines, sadly.
