I absolutely love the Serpa System. I wanted one holster system that could be used as a shoulder rig, thigh drop leg, right hip etc. This holster system rocks. Very modular. Buy the holsters, mag carriers for your favorite guns. Buy the platforms you prefer(ie drop leg, belt,paddle, shoulder etc...

Needs Another Platform for Double Rig
It would be nice if you could buy another platform for opposing side to hang another serpa as a counter-balance. And also, how about an elastic chest strap with a quick release buckle that attaches the two serpas together to eliminate flopping around and allow an equally balanced rig?

Solid shoulder holster
One of the things I like the most is flexibility. I have the Blackhawk mag.s attached. They fit both the 9 and 10mm. I add the quick attachment. One holster on 3 platforms. I can set the angle. Big plus standardization on the holster.

shoulder harness
the harness is quite comfortable, it is a large and with all the adjustment i can get its still to big for me. i'm a big guy so that surprised me. i will need to order a smaller one other than that the harness is great

I gave it a try and wish I now could return it...better products on the market
I generally love BlackHawk products, but this harness does not reflect the quality and engineering I have come to expect from BlackHawk. The are no directions just the sam packet that comes with the holster and the hold down straps are cheap 3/4 inch wide elastic. The snap that wraps around your belt at the end of the hold-down strap is very hard to manage.
I am in the process of modifying the hold down strap using a non-elastic nylon strip and a velcro strap to wrap around my the belt. I bought this because I like the SERPA system, but if I could return it I would!
Another issue is there is no explanation for the rail system mounted on the opposite side of the holster. My guess is this is for a magazine mount...where do I find the accessories that fit on this mount?
It appears this product was a poorly conceived after-thought and my recommendation is to avoid it

Well Engineered Harness
Good Harness. Fits my Glock 21 and me perfectly. Get a Medium unless you are well over 240 lbs. and 6' 6". My Double Stacked Magazine doesn't fit the left side, as of yet, but I'm working on that problem. Tech Services is assisting, but if they can't help, I'll make an adapter plate.

Detective Supervisor
I returned the product last week for a smaller size. Also, I expect the set up for the holster to be on the left side of my body....not the right. I'm right handed and draw from the left side of my body with a shoulder harness....not the right. Please advise when I can expect my replacement.
Right now it's not looking too good for a positive review. It appears too cumbersome....but we'll see after I receive the replacement. Thanks.

Blackhawk SERPA Shoulder Harness
I would normally have purchased a large given how I buy clothing, but the cautions on sizing convinced me to go medium, which is a good thing, as I've had to adjust it to the tightest position to get a good fit.

Blackhawk shoulder harness
The Blackhawk shoulder harness makes carrying my 1911 pretty simple, especially while riding on my motorcycle. Nice product for a good price.

Works for me
Shoulder rig is usually not my primary method of carry but this rig works well for sitting or riding in car. Very concealable under loose shirt and comfortable. Larger size fits us large of size types while still fitting over body armor if needed. Never thought I'd be wearing a "plastic" rig but I own 2 of these. Blackhawk stuff is pricey but...No complaints here on function or fit of attachments.
