I wear this on my plate carrier everyday while flying in Afghanistan. I fly as a crew chief and wanted some extra hydration attached to me in case I end up away from my helicopter for any reason. This fits under my arm instead of on my back which is what I needed because some of the loads we carry are too big to allow me to pass between them if I were any wider in the front or back.The only downfall to this is that once you fill it with water, you can hardly get the bladder into the pouch.

Hydration Pouch
It was the perfect size and super easy to fill. It was exactly as pictured/described. It fit perfect into the Insights Hunting Pack I bought my husband. It was sealed and packaged very good as well. So there was no worries about the cleanliness of the product.

Blackhawk 45oz side hydration pouch
Had this for a couple months now and have been able to use it three times. Attaching it to my plate carrier was simple and much easier then normal molle straps(using the supplied speed clips). I had to move it several times before I found the right spot of it. The hose connections are great. Blackhawk uses a check valve system so when you remove the hose it blocks the water from coming out. The bite valve is nice and easy to use. Obviously its best feature is its compactness. I have mine set up on my lower back towards my left and run the hose over my right shoulder. It is a perfect reach for me and the hose isnt too short nor too long. My only issue(which is minor) is that once you fill your bladder its kinda tuff getting it into the case. Its that snug a fit. You kinda have to shake it in like your putting a pillow in a pillow case.
In Conclusion if you dont need a full 3 liters of water and can get away with just one then I believe you will be happy with this product.

AWESOME
I love how small it is! It came with the new speed clip attachment versus, molle. I had my doubts but about the speed clips, but I'm a believer, AWESOME, Id recommend it to any one with a chest rig or who doesnt require a 100 oz. bladder, Which can be carried in a pack. Its makes a great back up, I love it
