Most Helpful Positive Review Great Belt
Nothing fancy here. Just your typical nylon 'BDU belt' [these used to be called 'rigger's belts']. A near exact copy of the current trouser belts issued to the troops. A slightly better quality product than standard USGI. The slightly higher price is obviously for the little label attached to the belt that reads 'BLACKHAWK!'. If this is what you need to hold up your BDUs, CCUs, or ACUs, then its worth the price! Being ex spec ops and currently in LE I can say that you just can not beat a BLACKHAWK! product. Good Nylon Belt

by mailman778, from AL, United States Written on February 5, 2019
Good belt, but is a bit to long for the size, but can easily cut off the end and make it the length you want, the rest seems to be fine.. The buckle is plastic but seems to be ok also, will know more all about it in a few months of wearing.
Pros:
  • easy to use
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Most any pants

Exactly what I needed and more

by Robert Patrick, from PA, United States Written on August 1, 2014
When you lose weight regular leather belts don't cut it. I have been using web belts with a brass pull. However, the years took their toll on mine so I order so new ones online. They were worthless. Cheap thin tin, scratched from the get go and the buckle would not hold the belt. Plus I ordered 1 black, 1 grey and 1 brown. I was sent 1 black that did not work and two white.

Fortunately I stumbled across Optic Planet and found this fantastic BDU belt. When I snug it up; it stays snug. I just lift the short overlap and pull the belt to tighten it. Then do the same thing only I pull a bit of my belt backwards and it releases.

GREAT GREAT Value

Good Belt; Does What Intended

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on July 5, 2013
Solidly built, includes belt tab for holding excess belt after buckling. Has to be cut and end melted if you have a smaller waste (not a big deal)

The basic belt

by Legacy Reviewer, from WA, United States Written on January 14, 2013
A good basic belt that works fine with my Blackhawk vest. It's a little slippery, but secure once snugged properly. It's the bare minimum belt that works with your tac vest rig, and for that purpose it is a good buy.
Pros: cheap
Cons: slippery
