Do not sleep on Blackout Defense. They are offering quality and innovation at a price point where others usually just offer quality.
The fit and finish on this upper is very clean. You can tell that attention and care was happening at every step, from the machining to the assembly.
From a casual glance and a couple trips to the range, the DTL upper easily competes with the big brands like DD and ADM. Reliable function and consistent performance make this an accurate and dependable upper whether you are competing or doing serious work.

Definitely top tier product
This has to be one of the most accurate and well built receivers I’ve ever had. I used it for a competition build because of this. All this considering I had absolutely no clue about this company, but it was irresistibly on sale. Sub moa with some sub par 55 grain.

Very accurate and rigid!
This thing is a beast! I have run everything from 55grain PMC to 77 grain federal without a single malfunction. It is very accurate, particularly with heavier grains. You can tell that the build is very sturdy and rigid and I believe this is attributable to the unique barrel nut technology. The quality of the machining is also excellent. I am very happy with my purchase.
