Most Helpful Positive Review Blade Tech IWB Klipt Appendix Holster
I'm a big fan of Blade Tech products generally. They're tough, well-designed, and their IWB products are particularly so. I'm not sure if it's the thickness of the product, or the tight tolerances, but they're slimmer and easier to conceal and wear than the competition. I purchased this model for both the Model 19 size Glock and a Commander length 1911. I had no intention of using them as appendix holsters, preferring instead to carry at 4 o'clock. I wanted a stow and go style holster and they're perfect in that capacity. The design of the clip is nice detail, keeping the holster positively se...

Great at this price point, but...

This is a great appendix carry holster. Over all it does exactly what I want it to, which is to retain my handgun inside the waist band. I like how it is pretty much the bare minimum of material to create the holster. It conceals my handgun rather well. There are only two drawbacks that I see to this holster that you may be able to get with a custom holster.
1) the belt clip will not allow you to adjust for depth of the holster inside your pants. I would prefer that I could adjust the clip so that the holster sits higher so that I could have a smoother draw. As it is, it is not difficult to draw the gun the way it sits currently for me.
2) I would prefer a full sweat guard, rather than, the half sweat guard. Currently, it can become uncomfortable after sitting for some time with the sights of your handgun digging into you stomach.

All in all, for the money this is be best bang for your buck!
Pros:
  • Good material and construction
  • Great retention
  • good belt clip
Cons:
  • belt clip not adjustable
  • Needs full sweat guard
Best Used for:
  • Appendix carry of a legally concealed handgun

So far so good

I carry a Glock 23 when out and about. I bought this holster due to my fondness with Blade Tech products. My first impression was that the material was kind of thin and average quality. After a few uses, I discovered it holds the pistol securely, not too tight or too loose. It stayed in the position IWB. There's no tension screws for adjustment. Overall, it's better than a leather IWB holster.

Blade Tech IWB Klipt Appendix Holster

One of the best holsters I have owned! The firearm "clicks" when seeded in the holster, so there is no worry about the firearm falling out. With just a simple pull, the firearm can easily be accessed from its concealed location. I highly recommend this holster to anyone.
Pros:
  • High quality
Cons:
  • None
