The Hype is Real
When I got my first rifle, I balked at buying a sling that cost more than $15. I even hacked together a few of my own from webbing and triglides. After seeing this sling continually recommended by other people, I wanted to give it a try. When Optics Planet had a good sale on these, I decided to p...

Only 1 swivel…
Don’t be like me and actually take the time to read the description on this. I was thinking I was getting 2 swivels and only ended up with one, not sure why you’d offer the sling with only 1 swivel but a lot of things don’t make sense in 2022. I’m sure it’s a great product but I won’t know until I ...

Excellent sling
Quick adjust and comfort make this worth the cost vs anything cheaper.

Vickers Sling lived up to the hype!
For the price this is one of the best padded slings I’ve had. Great fit & finish, well stitched. A comfortable fit. The only issue I had was the tri-glides were a bit stiff, but after moderate use they slid up and down with ease.

Vickers Padded Sling
I have a handful of Blue Force Gear products and for the most part I'm very happy with them.
I absolutely hate this sling. The stitching feels like Sawzall blades on your neck, the padding is way overkill for an AR15 platform and the adjustment tab is way more "finnicky" compared to other brands on the market. I had the straps break free through the tri glides MULTIPLE times which is completely unacceptable. There is not nearly enough "strap" on the back side of the sling if you're like me and prefer to loop the strap around the buttstock instead of using a QD.
I'm sure this sling was the best available when it originally came out, but in todays market there are FAR better options available.

Pros:
- Adjustable 2 point sling
Cons:
- Ungodly abrasive to your neck
- Triglides come loose
Best Used for:
- Returning to OpticsPlanet
- If you literally don't have any other slings

Best sling I ever owned
The design of the sling is far superior than the Magpul Ms1 sling I got before this one. The adjuster is very smooth to use. The length is just about right for my height.

Great Sling
High quality materials. Rugged build. Easy sling functionality to tighten or loosen. Only drawback is you have to buy the sling connections separately which adds a fair amount to the overall cost of the completed sling.
Pros:
- Excellent quality
Cons:
- Needs connectors
