Keeps your sling tight to the rifle in storage and transporting
I have slings on most of my long guns. At some point, those slings can get in the way in the safe.
I used to use big rubber bands or a mesh wrap to secure my slings. But, those were typically one use options. The wrap would get twisted or the rubber band would break or get misplaced. A pain.
I now have these BFG sling sleeves on most of my rifles. They slide on, cannot get lost, and keep things neat in the safe, actually making space.
I have these in all the colors. They may seem a bit expensive, but, like everything else, they are an investment in quality.

it is what it is
I thought it would be more useful, but it’s not. Perhaps I’ll use it for something else. As a sling sleeve for storage, it’s kind of a fail. Maybe I misunderstood how it would be used, although I doubt it.
