The chest rig was defective, which made question its probable longevity.
I received the chest rig and the stitching was missing that would hold the magazine in individual pockets. So instead of having four magazines pockets, the rig had two proper pockets and one large pocket. Total quality control fail.

BFG 10-Speed Chest Rig
BFG makes great products. I like this rig and it’s extremely well made, but here’s how it stacks up. The shoulder straps need to be wider. For the price, it’s too expensive. There are many chest rigs on the market with identical functionality at 1/3 the cost. You can get a Condor slick chest rig and add BFG Whisper pouches. I love BFG gear, but unless you’re a gear-snob and need to wear a “name,” save your coin.
