Most Helpful Positive Review Innovative attachment
I just picked up a few of these and I LOVE them. Several of my guns have attachment points that are just too small for a HK Hook (nor do I want one due to missing up the finish). I did an improvised QD attachment on my APC 9mm SBR but the QD attachment comes very close to my teeth when I fire which makes me pretty nervous. These guys here fit my Galil's and B&T products perfectly. I'm planning on running these in some matches.

Durable and Quiet

by Nice Ergonomics and Feel, from OR, United States Written on August 8, 2021
I have a Sig Sauer 556 SWAT CLASSIC with mounting loops for a sling. I had some metal buckles in there before that were chewing up the finish. I was suspect that the braided cable covering would immediately fail but it seems to be standing up to it well. I like flush cups didn’t want extra hardware to use them and these lightweight units from Blueforce work great.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Affordable
  • Simple
Cons:
  • Not as fast as flush cups/QD
Best Used for:
  • Weapon systems with integrated loops
Would recommend: Yes

Sling attachments for RDB

by petok, Verified Owner from GA, United States Written on November 9, 2020
I used these to mount a two point sling on a Kel-Tec RDB. Installation was easy and fit through the factory mounting points designed for hooks. The only concern I might have is that the rubber coating on the wire loop might eventually wear off due to the somewhat sharp edge of the metal sling mount ring it is inserted through. All in all, these provided where priced right from a good company and accomplished what I was needing to do.
Pros:
  • Price
  • Quality
Cons:
  • None
Would recommend: Yes

Quiet QD sling attachment?

by Dan, from CA, United States Written on January 31, 2018
I'm only giving this four stars because I haven't tested it fully yet. This could be a five star product... I will use this to attach my sling to a carbon fiber free float tube handguard on an AR. Carbon Fiber is a material I dislike cutting and drilling so adding a QD socket or other sling mount doesn't appeal to me. Instead I'm attaching an AFG and I'll run a few loops of Paracord around the handguard and through the AFG to keep it in one place. I intend to use the U Loop to attach my sling to a few of those Paracord loops. I think I'm going to get one of those elastic Mash hook silencers to mute any noise caused by the plastic or metal wire bumping against my carbon fiber handguard. Being attached to a loop and with two QD sockets on my butt stock makes my sling 100% ambidextrous. The only downside I see is that the load rating is a bit low, don't try a Die Hard HVAC duct trick putting the load on the U Loop end.
Pros:
  • light weight
  • EASY INSTALL
  • Easy removal
  • Simple is a virtue
Cons:
  • It was backordered and took a long time to ship
  • Not rated for Die Hard HVAC duct trick
Best Used for:
  • Adding a sling to a rifle without normal sling mounting options
