Bobster Goggles a Great Buy
These are a great buy.
After loosing a favorite pair of sunglasses while riding I considered googles.
Optics Planet has the best stuff available, best prices and great service so, it was a no brainer to shop here.
I have seen some reviews that the lenses do not darken enough. No so. These darken enough to protect your vision. Sure, sun glasses can be darker but these change from dark to clear... big plus with city driving.
The neoprene lining keeps bugs and dirt from entering around the lenses. However, not enough to ride a dirt bike.
Safety: hands down a winner here.
Fit and feel: you can adjust the fit to your liking. The straps and neoprene are soft and allow me to ride for hours.
Looks: GQ? maybe not. I have received compliments and referred other riders to purchase same. Keep in mind that I ride a 1976 Harley shovel head; total custom. So, I could be wearing almost anything and still command respect.
Price: excellent. I know of no sunglasses that I would wear at this price point.
The only negative is that they do not include a hard case. These are goggles afterall so, you wont wear these off the bike. Unless you are French in which case there is no helping you. TIP: I use the case from my lost sunglasses.
Pros: photochromic, anti fog, vented
Cons: could use a hard case for storage
