Exactly as advertised - BOG Death Grip Clamping Tripod

I have a Bog Pod "Red Legged Devil", which is good but I'm going to be using a heavy rifle, scope, and IR light, so I wanted something a little more "heavy duty". I ordered the Death Grip Tripod and it seems to be more than twice what the "Red Legged Devil" is. It is more than capable of holding my heavy rifle. The vertical and horizontal movement is much better and I don't have to worry about it dropping my rifle. It is not something you would want to walk through the woods with, but for waiting for game at a stand it is perfect. It is more than worth the price.
